Camden County Wildcats Prepare for Strong Quarterback Play

Camden County Wildcats Prepare For Strong Quarterback Play FI

The Wildcats are set for solid quarterback play over the next three years, with senior Parks Riendeau returning for his final season and promising sophomore William Jackson joining the team.

Riendeau, a key player since his freshman year, threw for over 1,800 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2023, leading Camden to the GHSA 7A Final Four.

He’s expected to lead the Wildcats again in 2025 before passing the torch to Jackson.

Jackson, a 6’4”, 196-pound four-star recruit, transferred to Camden County High School from Winter Park High School in Orlando earlier this spring.

Known for his powerful arm and ability to rush the ball, Jackson is already drawing attention from major programs, including Virginia Tech, South Carolina, and Arkansas.

His offer list is set to grow as he develops. Jackson’s freshman stats show promise: he completed 18 of 27 passes for 145 yards and rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown in four games.

Jackson’s future at Camden looks bright, with the coaching staff planning for him to take the reins starting in 2026.

Under Coach Roland’s Spread offense, Jackson has the tools to thrive, much like Riendeau did in his junior year.

Camden County plays in Region 1-6A, considered the most competitive region in Georgia, alongside teams like Colquitt, Lowndes, and Valdosta.

With Riendeau and Jackson on the roster, the Wildcats’ future looks incredibly promising in Kingsland, Georgia.
