It’s time for some corporate office rightsizing at TD Bank, which has a significant presence throughout South Jersey with its two-letter, green logos.
Starting this month, about 1,300 TD Bank employees will begin exiting their current offices and moving to other TD buildings in the region, according to a company representative.
Some will begin relocating to 6000 Atrium Way, Mount Laurel, this month, and the rest could move to 4140 Church Road, Mount Laurel, starting in the fall.
The physical makeover is the first for the banking giant since COVID. It is more in line with the company’s current hybrid work model, where the work week is split between home and the office, according to a company spokesman.
The global pandemic altered the need for office space, and commercial real estate took a hit due to work-from-home mandates.
TD Bank’s move to consolidate offices could be considered part of the seismic shift.
“This is a physical space change only,” the TD representative said in an email to The Sun Papers.
“Given the largely hybrid working model of our teams and colleagues, we have recognized that we can bring more colleagues together in fewer, more updated spaces. The Mount Laurel area is a central hub within TD Bank, and it will remain a significant campus where TD colleagues gather, work and connect.”

The same representative said TD Bank’s commitment to South Jersey remained steadfast, and the current consolidation involved only office space – not banking operations.
There are currently 44 TD Bank locations in South Jersey spread across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties.
Customers can use the store locator on TD Bank’s website to find their nearest location.
“The moves are all of corporate office space, so no changes to locations where customers can go to get their banking done,” said the same company spokesman.
“The South Jersey and greater Philadelphia metro market has been TD Bank’s home in the United States for more than 30 years and we are proud of our commitment to the region.”
Though the rightsizing plan has been in the works for some time, TD Bank sold five South Jersey corporate buildings in August 2024, located at:
- 1701 Marlton Pike East in Cherry Hill.
- 1006 Astoria Blvd. in Cherry Hill.
- 12000 Horizon Way in Mount Laurel.
- 9000 Atrium Way in Mount Laurel.
- 11000 Atrium Way, Mount Laurel.
The company said it has leased back each of these buildings for extended periods of months to years.
Headquartered in Cherry Hill, TD Bank uses the slogan “America’s Most Convenient Bank” and is one of the 10 largest banks in the United States.
