Leonard “Lenny” C. DeAngelo, of Mays Landing, NJ, formerly of Hammonton, NJ and Gloucester Twp., NJ, passed away December 21, 2024, at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of fifty years to the late Patricia A. DeAngelo (nee Pesini), who predeceased him in 2023. Devoted father of Leonard P. DeAngelo (Christina). Dear brother of Rosemarie Colucci and Denise Frattali. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony, and Rose DeAngelo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lenny was born and raised in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a Vietnam Veteran, proudly serving in the United States Army. He enjoyed his career as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 36 years, retiring in 2008. Lenny had passion for dancing, music (especially Motown) cars and westerns. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Flyers. Lenny had an inviting personality and found himself chatting with people everywhere he went, no one stayed a stranger for long. While Lenny had many passions, his greatest pleasure in life was being a husband and father, always striving to provide the best life possible for his family.
