
Dolores Rossi, affectionately known as “Dee,” passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on July 10, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA, she spent her final years in Blackwood, Gloucester Twp., NJ.
Dolores was the devoted wife to the late Anthony Rossi, mother to her daughter, the late Victoria Stiles and son, the late Anthony Rossi. She found immense joy in her role as grandmother to Jennifer, Joanna, Toni, Jason, and Christopher, as well as great-grandmother to Trinell, Talia, Tamya, and True. Dolores poured her heart into her family, and they were her pride and joy.
Throughout her life, Dolores cherished her hobbies, which included attending yard sales, telling silly jokes, and learning new facts to share with loved ones. Known for her kindness, humor, and caring nature, she brought warmth to everyone around her. Dolores had a special fondness for hot tea, cheese curls, pecan cookies, and the music from “A Concert for George.”
A hardworking school cafeteria worker, Dolores was known for her dedication to nurturing children both through her profession and her everyday life. Her motto, “I Said a Prayer For You Today,” reflected her loving spirit and her commitment to caring for others.
Dolores was a remarkable woman whose impact on those who knew her was profound. She will be remembered as a smart, sweet, and loving individual who made the world a better place through her laughter, kindness, and unwavering support for her family. She is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her legacy in their hearts. Her family will be celebrating her life privately.
