The Camden County Clerk’s office is now offering a new service allowing county residents to search their property records online for free.
“You can now view deeds, mortgages and other documents filed in the clerk’s office on the Camden County website.” said Camden County Clerk Joseph Ripa. “You can perform simple searches from your home computer by following the link on the clerk’s page.”
The clerk’s office maintains records of every property transaction in Camden County. Deeds and mortgages are filed in the clerk’s office, along with discharges, liens and easements.
The online database is updated nightly and can be used to track the status of submitted documents.
Official copies of documents can still be obtained from the clerk’s office for a fee. In the online version of the record, any information that does not need to appear in the document, such as social security numbers or bank account information, has been redacted to protect residents.
