The Camden County Department of Health announced on Friday, 56 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 7,000 in Camden County today and 343 total fatalities.

“We are wishing a fast and full recovery to the 56 individuals newly confirmed to have contracted this disease in Camden County, as well as everyone else still combatting COVID-19 possibly weeks after their initial diagnosis,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.

“Today we reached 7,000 total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Camden County since the start of this pandemic. The good news is that the vast majority have recovered or are recovering. Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go in this fight, and the threat of COVID-19 will linger until we have a widely available and rigorously tested vaccine. To save lives and prevent others from getting sick, we must continue to social distance, wear a mask in public, and stay home if you are exhibiting any symptoms.”
