Captain James Marr Honored as Employee of the Quarter

The Camden County Board of Commissioners celebrated Captain James Marr of Camden County Fire Rescue (CCFR) as the Employee of the Quarter at their November 19, 2024, meeting.

Captain Marr was chosen from a pool of strong nominations reviewed by the Employee Recognition Committee.

And he stood out for his remarkable leadership and dedication.

Colleagues described Marr as a positive and tireless leader who fosters teamwork and inspires growth.

His sense of humor, commitment to excellence, and focus on training have shaped an environment where firefighters thrive.

Marr’s efforts have had a profound impact on the department, which has strengthened the team’s readiness and morale.

Since joining CCFR as a recruit in 2013, Captain Marr has risen to become a key figure in the organization.

As Training Captain, he oversees crucial programs designed to prepare new recruits and enhance the skills of seasoned firefighters, ensuring the department can effectively serve and protect the Camden County community.

The Board of Commissioners and CCFR expressed their gratitude for Captain Marr’s contributions and congratulated him on this well-earned recognition.

His dedication continues to leave a lasting legacy within the department.
