The award recognizes his dedication and contributions to youth empowerment and educational equity during the academic year 2023-’24.

“Being recognized by the royal family fills me with content with my past experiences, gratitude for my present endeavors, and optimism for future opportunities,” he said.

Udotong’s recognition was part of an educational tour led by Professor Chris Imafidon, chair of the ExcellenceInEducation.org.UK. program. The tour included visits to the British Parliament, Oxford University, and Cambridge University.

“I had the opportunity to explore the Cambridge University library and was able to get a firsthand glance of ancient manuscripts dating all the way back to the medieval times,” he said.

“As an aspiring philosophy major, it deeply touched me to witness the evolution of knowledge over hundreds of years.”

He also participated in the Commonwealth Africa Summit in 2024 where he drew from his professional experience working at two Web3 companies and starting his own as well as bridging the gap on generations as the youngest participant of the summit.

Udotong’s academic journey is marked by numerous accolades, including the National African American Recognition Award for his PSAT performance, the President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, and the AP Scholar Award for his achievements on AP exams.

In addition to his academic prowess, Udotong excelled in sports, music, and languages. As a three-year varsity football athlete and team captain, he was recognized as a top 250 player in South Jersey, placing him in the top 8 to 9% of high-school players in the region. He earned All-Conference First Team honors and was featured on multiple “Players to Watch” lists. ‘

His artistic talents were evident from an early age when he played the recorder in fifth grade and continued to nurture his musical interests. Furthermore, he has demonstrated linguistic proficiency by studying French, enhancing his cultural and communicative skills.

At Cinnaminson High, Udotong served as student council president for four years and led the Cinnaminson Diversity and Alumni Student Council for two years, showcasing his leadership and commitment to fostering inclusive communities.

During the summer of 2023, Udotong attended Brown University’s Summer Program, studying courses such as “Philosophy of Mind” and “Ethics of Technology.” This experience deepened his understanding of the intersection between technology and social consciousness. With three years of experience working at two Web3 companies and starting his own, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to the field.

He was also recently invited by Triton Consulting NYC as a guest speaker at the “Teens That Mean Business (TTMB)” workshop. He shared his insights about Web3 with high school entrepreneurs, reflecting his passion for youth empowerment and technological innovation.

Udotong is excited to see where his curiosity will take him. He currently is in a three-year program in the U.K.

“My diverse interests reflect my passion for understanding complex systems whether they are routed in abstract theories or practical applications,” he said.

“I believe as I continue to work hard, I can accomplish what I put my mind to.”
