‘Strength in unity’

Harrison Township held its annual commemoration at the memorial of 9/11 in front of Mullica Hill Baptist Church, a ceremony that included local legislators and first responders who paid tribute to the nearly 3,000 Americans lost that day. “We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed and the first responders who faced danger to save others,” the police department noted on Facebook. “Their sacrifice reminds us of the strength found in unity and the power of the human spirit. Together, we remember. Together, we stand strong.”
