The Evergreens, a continuing care retirement community in Moorestown, recently unveiled a new addition to the community — a beautiful Steinway & Sons Boston grand piano.

To celebrate, the community hosted a concert featuring violinist Hirono Oka of The Philadelphia Orchestra, who was accompanied by Pianist Jeffrey Uhlig. A reception was held in Great Hall prior to the event, featuring a variety of desserts prepared by The Evergreens Executive Chef Bob Rifkin and the Dining Services team.

“We are excited to unveil our new Steinway & Sons Boston grand piano, and having Hirono and Jeff featured for this debut performance is only fitting,” Doug Halvorsen, President and CEO at The Evergreens, said. “We strive to offer our residents the same arts and cultural experiences right here at our community as they might find throughout the region, and this new instrument will open the door for even more unique experiences for our residents.”
