CamCo down to 17 reported COVID cases

County logs more than 220,000 residents who are fully vaccinated to date,

The Camden County Department of Health reported on Tuesday 17 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 49,150 in Camden County today and 1,203 total fatalities.

“Cases continue to fall thanks to vaccinations and warm weather, but we have to make sure this progress lasts beyond the summer,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.

“The only way to know you’re protected is to get vaccinated. If you haven’t gotten your shot yet, the COVID-19 vaccine has never been so readily available at pop-ups, major vaccine centers, or other local providers. Don’t wait until numbers start increasing again to get protected.”

Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.

To date, 464,741 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Camden County. There are 263,167 people with at least one vaccine dose, and 221,030 people who are fully vaccinated.
