“It’s important to remember that even when our cases appear to be low, this disease is still in our community, it is still causing pain, and sadly, it is still taking lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and we are wishing speedy recoveries to everyone who has contracted the virus,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “Yesterday, the Freeholder Board announced a new grant program aimed at supporting small businesses impacted by COVID-19. Equally important as getting direct support to these enterprises is ensuring that they are able to remain open and operate safely in the months ahead. To do that, we must continue to wear masks, social distance, and reduce the spread of coronavirus to prevent the necessity of another economic shut down in the fall.”
