The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 36 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 7,477 in Camden County today and 430 total fatalities.

“As this disease continues to spread through our community, we are wishing a fast and full recovery to everyone who has been diagnosed with the coronavirus,” said Freeholder Louis Cappelli, Jr. “As more of the state prepares to reopen, we want to once again stress the importance of simple steps that help to protect you and others from contracting and spreading this virus. Wear a mask when you’re in public, wash your hands frequently, stay home if you are sick, and minimize unnecessary trips. This will not stop the virus from spreading completely, but these easy-to-follow guidelines will greatly reduce the number of cases in our community and save lives over the next several months.”
