“After two months of these announcements, it has not gotten any easier to announce today that nine Camden County residents have succumbed to COVID-19. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends, and everyone who has been impacted by coronavirus,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.

“We are hopeful that this week marks a turning point in this crisis, however, we must all recognize that this progress can only be sustained if we continue to take social distancing and other guidelines seriously. If you plan to make a curbside purchase, make sure you are wearing a face cover and limit your interaction with staff. If you are planning to go to the shore over the coming holiday weekend, make sure you follow the restrictions put in place and expect a limited number of visitors allowed on the beach. We must continue to be vigilant in order to prevent a rebound in cases.”
