Friday, Sept. 27
Cinnaminson Township will host a music festival from 5-9:30 p.m. at Wood Park, 900 Ponoma Road. This will be the first time Cinnaminson is hosting an event like this which includes seven bands between two stages. Also including in the event is a car show, food trucks, breweries, and concluded with fireworks sponsored by Riggs Distler. Parking for the event will be at Pomona Swim Club, Saint Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson Memorial School and street parking in surrounding neighborhoods. Event goers can bring a blanket or chairs to view the bands, grab something to eat from the food trucks, or patronize the three breweries. The fireworks display will commence once the headliner Fat Mezz completes their second set. For more information contact [email protected].
Saturday, Sept. 28
Relay for Life Cinnaminson from 4-8 p.m., Cinnaminson High School, 1197 Riverton Road. For state Sen. Troy Singleton’s September service event, they will partner once again with the American Cancer Society to assist with their Relay for Life Event in Cinnaminson. Volunteers will be asked to help with setting-up the track, arranging luminaries, and other aspects of their event. Cinnaminson and volunteers will be asked to help from 2:30-4 p.m.
Riverfront Seniors
Riverfront Seniors, formerly Palmyra Seniors, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for persons 55 years or over who reside in Burlington County and surrounding areas. Members from area towns meet at the Palmyra Community Center each month September to June. The first meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 18. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays. Doors open to the members at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m., the program is presented. On first and third Fridays, members can enjoy Bingo, lunch and a movie at the community center. Anyone may attend one meeting free to meet everyone.
