The celebration at its South Burnt Mill Road facility included local officials and members of the community and served as an official announcement of the treatment center’s rebranding to Maryville Integrated Care, a name that reflects its holistic approach to treating those with substance use and related mental-health disorders.

Maryville has provided addiction treatment in the state since its founding in 1949. The first nonprofit addiction agency in New Jersey, it has practiced evidence-based treatment programs and maintained a commitment to long-term recovery.

“Maryville has been an essential partner in helping those suffering from substance use disorder in Camden County and throughout all of New Jersey,” said county Commissioner Virginia Betteridge, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services, during the anniversary ceremony.

“This new name reflects the integrated-care approach that treats the entire person, addressing multiple needs at the same time. And the 75th anniversary offers an opportunity to celebrate the immeasurable impact Maryville has made, while looking forward to Maryville Integrated Care’s bright future.”

Maryville’s services have evolved over the years. It now offers a comprehensive range of programs, including in-patient detoxification, residential treatment and outpatient services at other locations in Williamstown, Pemberton, Turnersville and Vineland.

Licensed by the state and accredited by CARF International – an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services – Maryville is known for its commitment to accessible care, evident in its ability to reach individuals through both in-person services and tele-health options.

As Maryville Integrated Care, the organization will continue so serve individuals and families. The rebranding symbolizes not only a continuation of Maryville’s legacy, but also an expansion of its services to better meet the needs of those it serves.
