Two Pemberton woman were charged with shoplifting from the Shoprite, according to the Medford Police Department.
Police responded to the store at 208 Route 70 at 2:26 p.m. on Feb. 26 for a report of two females believed to be involved in shoplifting.
The 56-year-old woman was in possession of approximately $524 of merchandise and the 58-year-old woman was in possession of $694 of merchandise when they allegedly attempted to leave store without paying. They were processed and released.
