On 5/7/22, at approximately 3:17 a.m, Gloucester Township Police responded to Douglas Avenue in Blackwood for a reported vehicle into a residence. The driver, later identified as Timothy Brown had struck another vehicle, which caused this vehicle to careen off the road and crash into the side of a residence. The second driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to Jefferson Stratford Hospital for treatment. Timothy Brown was arrested at the scene for Driving While Intoxicated and Assault by Auto (4th Degree) and transported to headquarters for processing. He was later released on a Complaint-Summons and motor vehicle summonses pending a court appearance in accordance with the New Jersey Bail Reform Act.
