The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 90 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 37,459 in Camden County today and 983 total fatalities.
“In the last seven days we are averaging approximately 106 new cases per day, our lowest mark since Nov. 2,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “If we continue to take this pandemic seriously, we can keep driving cases down. As the number of vaccinated persons in the county increases, we can expect to see the spread of this virus diminish even further. If we work together just a few more months, the state of this pandemic could change dramatically.”
The county Health Department is currently working to trace close contacts of these newest cases. The investigations are still ongoing, and we will update the public with new developments as the information is gathered by our investigators.
