“It is with great sadness that we announce the news of 12 additional deaths caused by COVID-19 in Camden County. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, as well as with everyone who has been impacted by coronavirus,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “We are continuing to see positive trends, with overall case growth between 1 and 2 percent each day. This would not be possible without the continued commitment of Camden County residents who have taken this threat seriously since day one. With the governor’s announcement that the state will be reopening more of our economy in coming weeks, we must all continue to proactively fight the spread of COVID-19 while outside of our homes. Wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene, get tested, and stay home if you’re feeling sick. We must continue to use the tools at our disposal to avoid a second spike and rid ourselves of this insidious threat.”
