Family time: Virtual Kids Expo is April 29

Enjoy the fun from home at inaugural Sun Newspapers event

Family fun is coming your way — and you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own couch!

The Kids Expo Virtual Takeover presented by The Sun Newspapers, a Newspaper Media Group publication, will showcase activities, information and more throughout the day on Wednesday, April 29, all on our social media channels.

“We are happy to offer an event where parents can learn about local services, along with enjoy some fun activities with their kids,” Arlene Reyes, The Sun Newspapers publisher, said.

Starting at 10 a.m., we will be sharing unique videos and content from local businesses on our Facebook pages. Content will originate on the NMG Facebook page @newspapermediagroup1, and from there will also be shared to applicable town pages. Content will be shared on Instagram @sun_newspapers as well.

Confirmed participants include South Jersey Hebrew Sunday School, Chez Dance Studio, Altum Chiropractic, Liberty Lake, and JCC Camps at Medford, with more to come!

“During the current circumstances, I have been intrigued as to how many businesses are adjusting to our new normal,” Reyes said, “so I am excited to see the vendors’ creativity in videos and how they will differ.”

Sun staffers are getting in on the fun, too, so watch out for some familiar faces sharing kid-oriented activities and crafts you can do at home!

The Kids Expo Virtual Takeover will also serve as an introduction to The Sun Newspapers’ YouTube channel.

“We hope this will be the beginning of further expanding our platforms and reach,” Reyes said.

Be sure to follow Newspaper Media Group and The Sun Newspapers social media accounts ahead of April 29 to not miss out!
