Join the local boy scouts on Oct. 22 as they celebrate an historic achievement!
Boy Scouts Troop 9 of Palmyra will be celebrating their 70th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 22 and you’re invited! The anniversary celebration and court of honor will mark 60 years of cub scouts, 65 years of venturing/crew, and 70 years of boy scouts.
The event will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palmyra Community Center located at 20 W. Broad Street. Eagle Scout and FBI agent Stephen Powell will be in attendance as a special guest.
A short program will recognize Bethany Lutheran Church as our sponsoring organization, and the surrounding community that has supported us.

A cake and ice cream reception will follow.
