Daniel William Myers II, of Cherry Hill and formerly of Haddonfield, passed away at the age of 86 on Saturday, Sept. 30. He was the devoted husband of Gretchen Christophel and of the late Eileen Myers (nee Kohn); beloved father of Kathryn Myers, Susan Myers and Meredith Winner; adoring grandfather of Amelia and Daniel Winner and loving uncle of nieces and nephews.
Dan, a graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School Class of 1948, earned his college degree from the University of Virginia in 1952. He served as a 1st Lt. in the US Army from 1952 to 1954. He then went on to earn his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1957. Dan was a longtime lawyer in South Jersey and member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Haddonfield.
All are welcome to Daniel’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at The Riverton Country Club located at: 1416 Highland Ave in Cinnaminson. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Daniel’s name to Nature Conservancy at: 15 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
