Advisory in effect until 3 p.m. as South Jersey sees first snow of the year
Cherry Hill and the rest of the Philadelphia region could receive its first dose of winter weather today. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory through 3 p.m. this afternoon.
Mixed precipitation is expected in the region from this morning into the early
afternoon before changing to rain. The precipitation will move northward through the area during the morning hours. Total snow accumulations could be up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.
Drivers should use extra caution on the road as the storm system passes through. Slippery roads and limited visibility are possible.
