Two lanes on Route 70 will be closed overnight on Monday and Tuesday due to the NJDOT’s ongoing construction project.
Motorists traveling late on Route 70 the next couple of nights may run into delays as two lanes will be closed on the road near Springdale Road for construction.
Cherry Hill Police say two lanes on Route 70 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night into Tuesday morning and again on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The closures are due to work in the New Jersey Department of Transportation ongoing road improvement project on the road. In addition, Springdale Road will be closed during those hours between Route 70 and Greentree Road.
Detours will be posted throughout the area. New Jersey State Police will be on location to assist motorists if needed.
Daytime work is continuing to take place on Route 70 between Haddonfield Road and the New Jersey Turnpike from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., resulting in intermittent lane and shoulder closures.
