Frances Rose Mattia (nee Delpopolo), age 95, of Berlin, NJ, passed away with her family by her side, on November 11, 2024.
Frances was proud of her Italian heritage. She worked as a Secretary for the Pennsauken Board of Education for many years before retiring. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles. Frances had a kind heart and volunteered her time at Virtua Hospital in Berlin. Her greatest joy was her family and she cherished her time spent in Myrtle Beach on countless family vacations.
Daughter of the late Philip and Josephine (nee Travia) Delpopolo. Beloved wife of the late James Mattia. Devoted mother of Linda Mattia and Maryann Previtera (Anthony). Loving grandmother of Michelle Previtera (Robert Arter) and Laura Swamy (Nathanael). Dear great grandmother of Robert Arter and Natalie Swamy.
