Married? Children? Grandchildren? I’ve been married to my wife, Jen, for 28 years. We are the proud parents of three children, ages 25, 23, and 19 and our family dog, Rosie.

Profession:  President and managing partner of successful financial planning firm in the Delaware Valley

Is this the first time you have run for a seat for (Council/Committee/mayor/BOE)?If not, how many years/terms have you served as (Council/Committee/BOE/mayor) person?

I am honored to have been the youngest person to ever have been elected to Cherry Township Council and have served for 24 years, including 18 as Council President.

What is your involvement in the community?

In addition to serving on Council, I’ve served as a longtime community volunteer. I was a Cherry Hill Atlantic Little League Coach, Cherry Hill East Soccer Booster and involved with the Stockton Elementary and Rosa Middle School PTA.

I am a former trustee for the Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Southern New Jersey and member of Kol Ami synagogue and the Katz JCC Community Center.

I also co-founded the Cherry Hill Human Relations Advisory Committee and was instrumental in building the Cherry Hill Public Library.

Why are you running for an elected seat?

I’m running for Mayor of Cherry Hill because I am committed to ensuring the Township is the best place to live, work, play and raise a family. I will use my business experience to run the Township in a manner that respects taxpayer dollars and protects the quality of life in our neighborhoods so that people can safely enjoy all Cherry Hill has to offer. Together, with my running mates for Township Council Michele Golkow, Brian Bauerle and Jennifer Apell, I will make sure Cherry Hill works for everyone.

What is one area you would like to concentrate on if elected?

Responsive government. Our residents are our customers, and they deserve to have their voices heard, their questions answered, and their concerns addressed promptly. As elected leaders, our number one job is to serve the public. One of the first things I will do as Mayor of Cherry Hill is create a constituent services team that is professional, responsive and treats all our residents as the valued customers they are.

What is your involvement in the community? I have served in the non profit  community for more than 3 decades

Why are you running for an elected seat?

It’s my calling. You have people who are compelled and called to serve the public and I’m one of them. This is about the greater good of mankind. I believe that I bring genuine, sincere, earnest and compassionate care for the people in my community. In too many communities, there is a disconnect between government and people who elected them to that office… I am that connector, a Bridger of the gap.

What is one area you would like to concentrate on if elected?  When elected, my team will look to bring in outside auditing professionals to  review the books and show the taxpayers …. dollar for dollar where their monies are spent.
