Mantua Township accepting applications for new crossing guards

Crossing guards are set to work 10 hours per week

The Township of Mantua is now hiring crossing guards. General duties include safeguarding pedestrians at designated crosswalks near Mantua Township and Wenonah Borough schools during student arrivals and dismissals. Also, crossing guards are to report pedestrian safety concerns to the police department.

Crossing guards are set to work 10 hours per week with no guaranteed hours for alternates, but potential for up to 10 hours per week by filling vacant crossing posts. Crossing guards and alternates earn $15.99 an hour.
