Friends and family of Edna Stauffer, a former kindergarten teacher at Lake Tract Elementary School, were on hand outside Deptford Middle School on Sept. 17 for the unveiling of a new bench dedicated in her memory. Stauffer, who died in April at 82, was also a co-founder of the Deptford Girls Softball League. Her lifelong dedication to education and youth lives on through the work of the Deptford Township Foundation for Educational Excellence.
