Shades of Harmony Chorus invites you to their Make Your Own Scarecrow Fundraiser. Dates and times are Saturday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday Oct. 6, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Danny’s Farm Market is located at 930 S. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown. Everything will be provided for participants to make their own, life-sized scarecrow. It’s a fun family event that kids love! Monroe Township Office of Emergency Management is hosting free 12-hour Disaster Preparedness and Survival training that is open to the public. This training is being taught by Texas A&M and is funded through FEMA. The in-person class will be held 6-10 p.m., Oct. 18 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 19. Those interested must attend both days.
