Wednesday, Aug. 7

Adult Yarn Social: Adult seniors. 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join other knitting and crochet fans for a relaxed, social yarn time. No registration is required.

Marlton Farmers Market: All residents. 4 to 7 p.m.at Evesboro Downs Park (131 Evesboro-Medford Road). The opening day of the 2024 Marlton Farmers Market. Shoppers can once again shop locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, baked goods, home goods, food trucks, artisan products, and other sustainable items. The market will continue to run every Wednesday through Sept. 11. No registration required.

Thursday, Aug. 8

Pride Time: Bracelet Making: Ages 11 to 17 years. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The library is welcoming all LGBTQ+ tweens, teens, and allies to make friendship bracelets. Supplies will be provided. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Friday, Aug. 9

Stay & Play: Ages 6 years and under. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to stop by the library for a special play time for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. Participants may enjoy books, sensory toys, basketball, scavenger hunts, Dupos, crafts, and more. Stay & Play will end with a special story and bubbles. No registration required.

Zendoodle Time: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4 to 4:40 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with very little stress. Participants may also bring music to listen to. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

XGLOsive Black Light Basketball – Light Alliance Tour: sessions include ages 12 to 17 years, as well as a session for 18 years and up. 8 p.m. at the Memorial Sports Complex (1040 Tuckerton Rd.). The Burlington County Municipal Alliance program is presenting the return of the Light the Night XGLOSIVE Basketball Tour for 2024. The courts at the Memorial Sports Complex are transformed with blacklights, fluorescent graphics, and upbeat music to create a fun, nightclub-like atmosphere. This event is once again free for all participants. Sessions will be broken out between 8 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Registration is required, a link to register is available on the township website.

Saturday, Aug. 10

Kids Coding Class: Ages 7 to 12 years. 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the Marlton Kids Tech Club to learn about technology. Participants will be able to make friends while learning how to code and more. No experience required and all supplies will be provided. Parent or guardian of non-readers must stay and assist their child. For additional information, email [email protected]. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Kids Coding Class (Bring Your Own Device): Ages 7 to 12 years. 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Additional spots are available to join the Marlton Kids Tech Club to learn about technology.  Make friends while learning how to code and more.  No experience required. Participants must bring their own computer or device that can run MIT Scratch. The Burlington County Library System lends Chromebooks and Samsung Galaxy tablets. Both devices work with MIT Scratch. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
