The Camden County Board of Commissioners has launched a mobile app for iPhone or Android that will be a one-stop source for information about county services, programs and events.
The app is easy to use and free to download. Users can view the local time and temperature, get ahead of local weather emergencies with alerts from the National Weather Service, stay updated on concert and event cancellations, browse the county website, download a map of the parks system, find a ballot box or polling place and see photos from the latest county activities.
Visit Camden County Live, the portal for public meetings, will enable users to meet local officials and obtain their contact information or that of county departments, agencies and offices. Updates coming to the app will include interactive mapping of the parks system and its amenities and obtaining park permits.
