On Sunday, April 30, Deptford High School’s Wind Ensemble performed at the NJ State Band Gala held at Rowan University. This event featured the top 12 high school bands in the state. Our Spartans qualified for this honor based on their second place finish at the South Jersey Region Festival in March. This is the highest honor a band can achieve in the state of NJ and only the 5th time in our program’s history we have been invited. Congratulations to Mr. Michael Armstrong and all our student musicians on this achievement.
