Have a security camera? Help the Deptford police by registering it

The Deptford Township Police Department is requesting residents, businesses, and organizations that have security cameras on their property to complete a short, voluntary registration form in an effort to increase safety in throughout the township.

The registration does not give the Deptford Township Police Department access to your
camera system; it allows the agency to maintain a database of active cameras in the event a crime occurs in the area.
For example, if a burglary occurs on or near your property, your camera may have captured an image of a vehicle or suspect that could connect us to the suspects involved in the burglary.  A detective may contact you and ask to review the footage.

Registration is voluntary and free.  Visit the township’s website in order to complete the short Surveillance System Registration form.
