Burlington County Library’s upcoming Thanksgiving events

The library is hosting a number of events over the next week leading up to the holiday

Thanksgiving is just a little over a week away and Burlington County Library has some seasonal events planned to get you in the fall holiday mood.

Burlington County Gardeners Association Natural Ornament Workshop

The Gardeners Association invites you to join them as they prepare for the festive season using the best of nature to create special seasonal decor. They will meet in the Burlington County Library Meeting Rooms A and B on Nov. 15 at 10 a.m.

All materials will be supplied however attendees are encouraged to bring their own pruners if they have a pair on hand.

“Owl” Be Looking for Fall Make-N-Take

For the young crafters out there the library is hosting a make-n-take where kids can create an owl for the fall season as a take home project.

The make-n-take will be held in the Burlington County Library Storytelling Room on Nov. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. Available while supplies last. Registration is not required.

Crafting with Marsha: Celebrate the Season

From the Burlington County Library events page:

“Come spend the evening creating something special for the upcoming holidays. Get in the spirit of the season with a special holiday craft class. As always, materials will be supplied but scissors, glue guns and other craft tools are always welcome. We hope to see you there!”

Crafting with Marsha will take place in the library’s Meeting Room on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m.

Thanksgiving Parade

Friends of the Burlington County Library is sponsoring this mini parade that will run throughout the library on Nov. 20 starting in the Storytelling Room at 10:30 a.m.

During the parade children will cooperatively hold special balloons and walk through the library. At the end they will have a chance to make a craft and Santa will pay a visit.

Parents are welcome to decorate and bring their own children’s wagons or strollers as a float for the parade. To register for the parade call the library at (609) 267–9660.
