The Burlington Township Falcons have won their last two games in World Series play.
Following their 16–15 victory over South East Denver on Tuesday evening, the Burlington Township Falcons kicked off their Iron Man bracket with a win on Thursday.
After holding a slim 1–0 lead over Willamette Valley, Ore., Burlington Township used a four run top of the sixth to pull away for good. The final score was 5–2 on Thursday, as the Falcons advanced to the next round of the bracket.
Chad Brewer was voted the BT Player of the Game, while Jordan Barclay threw 61 pitches in the win. Burlington Township had seven hits offensively while only allowing four.
The Falcons continue their schedule on Friday at 7:30 p.m., when they face off with West Hartford, Conn. The winner of Friday’s match will then face off on Saturday for the Iron Man Bracket Championship.
