Burlington Township Police prepares for National Night Out

As the calendar slowly moves closer to August, a nationwide event will take place once again. National Night Out has been a growing event in the United States since 1984, and since 2009 Burlington Township has participated. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighbor camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.

B.T.P.D. seeking assistance in motor vehicle burglaries

During the overnight hours of Thursday July 13 and Friday July 14, the Burlington Township Police Department responded to several reports of vehicle burglaries along the Mt. Holly Road — High Street corridor. If any nearby resident has video surveillance during the aforementioned time, please contact Det. Casella at [email protected] or (609) 239–4486.

Burlington Township Food Pantry still going strong during rough summer

Food pantries are a necessity to the people who depend on them. The Burlington Township Food Pantry has been providing families food since 2008. However, the summer months could see fewer donations to the pantry, which could mean many empty stomachs. Domenic Zulla, director of the Burlington Township Food Pantry, has been helping since it opened. Prior to that, Zulla worked with the pantry in Burlington City since 2002.

“Thursday at the Theater” at Burlington County Library on Aug 3

Looking to add a movie night to your upcoming schedule? Make sure you stop by the Burlington County Library on Aug 3 at 6:30 p.m. The library will continue it’s “Thursday at the Theater” schedule by showing the 2017 film, ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’ rated PG-13.
