Moorestown Police Reports for Nov. 27 through Dec. 11

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On Nov. 27 due to a domestic situation a 27-year-old male of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with criminal mischief by damaging an iPhone valued at $500. He was released ROR on a warrant.

On Nov. 28 two women, a 55-year-old from Lumberton and a 43-year-old from Mt. Holly, were arrested and charged with shoplifting from Boscov’s Dept. Store located in the Moorestown Mall. The Lumberton resident concealed clothing valued at $439.97 and the Mt. Holly resident concealed two Calvin Klein scarves valued at $116. Both were released on a summons.

On Nov. 28 an 18-year-old man of Marlton was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Zumiez located in the Moorestown Mall for concealing a sweater valued at $29.95 in a backpack. He was released on a summons.

On Nov. 28 due to a hit and run motor vehicle accident to two parked vehicles on the Moorestown Mall parking lot a 29-year-old male of Mt. Laurel was arrested and charged with driving under the Influence.

On Nov. 30 arrested and charged with shoplifting from Sears Department Store located in the Moorestown Mall and charged with obstruction was a 19-year-old male of Camden. He took a watch and a hat valued at $56.99 and then refused to provide officers with pertinent information. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $1,500 bail.

On Dec. 1 arrested and charged with DUI was a 22-year-old female of Pennsauken as the result of a motor vehicle stop.

On Dec. 3 a 21-year-old male of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with shoplifting, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and obstruction. He concealed a Phillies hat valued at $18 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall, was in possession of 16 small zip lock baggies of Marijuana and then gave officers false identity information. He was committed to the Burlington County jail on $1,000 bail.

On Dec. 4 a 50-year-old individual of Camden was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The individual switched price tags on perfume for a loss of $58 at Marshalls on Route 38. The individual was released on a summons.

On Dec. 9 a 23-year-old male of Somers Point was arrested and charged with shoplifting. He concealed six polo shirts from Macy’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall into a shopping bag. The value of the theft was $270. Thompson was released on a summons.

On Dec. 9 a resident of Bramley Road had a package taken from their door step. Fed ex had delivered the package being an iPad valued at $406.59.

On Dec. 11 two individuals were arrested and charged with Shoplifting from Sears Dept. Store in the Moorestown Mall. The first individual, a 25-year-old female of Beverly, concealed a black leather handbag in a backpack actor #2 had with a value of $89. The second individual was a 27-year-old male of Beverly who concealed a black leather handbag in a backpack he was wearing, valued $89. Both were released on a summons.

On Dec. 11 a 34-year-old female of Marlton was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She placed several items of merchandise into a shopping cart at Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and exited the store. Total value of the theft was $2,632.51. She was released on $150 bail.
