The Moorestown Library hosts lots of donation drop offs this holiday season

’Tis the season to remember and aid those in need our community. To help brighten their holidays, when you visit the new Moorestown Library, you may also drop off your donations for these worthy causes…

The Wish Tree is an annual tradition of the Woman’s Club of Moorestown. Choose a wish tag and return the unwrapped gift and tag by Dec. 18. Emergency and Community Services will distribute the gifts to the needy children of Burlington County.

Toys for Tots, sponsored by the USMC Reserve, is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys in their drop-box for their annual holiday drive.

Live Civilly’s food pantry cart is an ongoing donation site where you can fill their shopping cart with non-perishable food items any time you visit us. Check out books and hunger at the same time!

BCAA Cats welcomes cat and kitten food, treats, litter, and many other items needed to support their rescue and fostering efforts. They run the adoption center at PetSmart on Centerton Road, as well as low-cost spay & neuter clinics, just to mention a few of their services, manned by a network of caring volunteers. Dog food and treats are also welcome, for shelter dogs and also for the Food Bank, to enable the needy to keep their pets.

And be sure to visit the Moorestown Library Community Bulletin Board near the Reference Desk. It’s brimming with ideas for service projects and news of holiday events in our area.

Have a friend who’s moved out of town, but still loves the Moorestown Library? Consider gifting them with a non-resident membership.

Come on by and check us out during this season of giving!
