Over 100 Burlington Township High School athletes participated in a series of evaluations aimed at gathering actionable data on individual body movements that will be used to prevent future sports injuries.
Libraries throughout Burlington County feature programs for children, teens and adults, including indoor movies, book clubs and story times, yoga sessions and crafts, video and board games, Lego building and STEM exploration, business and computer classes and activities for the special needs community.
Lauren Purnell, a 21-year-old Burlington County resident, has sought out to positively impact her community through her own efforts in identifying and defeating the stigma of homelessness, but by also providing a place for volunteers and local residents to come together to inspire one another.
Program will cover identifying common personal stressors, practicing various relaxation techniques and creating a personal action plan for stress management and self care.
This year, the Burlington County Animal Alliance has been celebrating their 20 year anniversary. The organization was founded in 1999 as a private, independent nonprofit animal advocacy group.
