Mooney's pick-up truck has been upgraded thanks to to wrestling and his senior season is set up to be even more special. The Westville native was the only South Jersey resident to go unbeaten among fellow South Jersey foes. His fifth-place finish at states was tops in the area, too.

Deptford’s 1978 championship football team will be honored at next week’s Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame banquet when it’s quarterback, the late Daniel Greene, will be a part of the 2019 induction class.
More than 50 local organizations as well as community members collected a total of 17,287 pounds of food for the Food Bank of South Jersey. The poundage equates to 11,525 meals. In addition, approximately 300 pounds of pet food was donated, which will be distributed through a local food pantry to help food-insecure families to feed their pets.
