Cinnaminson High School Advanced TV students creates series “5 Songs That…”
For the past two months, Jen Faiola, along with other Advanced TV students, have been working on a series called “5 Songs That…” The video series involves interviewing CHS teachers and staff members on the five songs that shaped their lives, with the intent of allowing the Cinnaminson community to get to know the staff on a more personal level.
Cinnaminson police officer recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving
Cinnaminson Township Police Department officer Garrett McLaverty was recognized today by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his dedication in enforcing impaired and intoxicated driving motor vehicle laws. At a ceremony at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, he received the Top Cop of Burlington County Award and another award for having the most DUI arrests in the Cinnaminson Police Department.
CFD opening Safety Stand Down Training session to all emergency responders
The Cinnaminson Fire Department is opening its annual Safety Stand Down Training session to all emergency responders. This is a free event. The session will take place on Saturday, June 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cinnaminson High School.
Cinnaminson students and staff raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
On May 31, New Albany Elementary School students and staff held a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Daisy Days Campaign. To top off their day of fundraising in which more than $700 was generously donated, the NAS family joined together to make the largest daisy in the tri-state area.
