Visitors can stock up on used books, DVDs, CDs, and more during the Friends of the Library’s first book/media sale of the year.
Book lovers can drop by the Burlington County Library from Feb. 23 to Feb. 26 to stock up on some used books, DVDs, CDs, and more during the Friends of the Library’s first book/media sale of the year.
Shoppers will find thousands of items for sale in the library’s meeting room on:
· Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
· Friday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
· Saturday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
· Sunday, Feb. 26 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
In addition, a preview sale offered to Friends of the Library members only will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. Those interested can become a Friends member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family or $10 per senior or senior family.
Bargain hunters will find 7,500 books available at the sale, most costing between 50 cents to $1. All books will be organized by category, with the majority available for the first time.
Visitors can look for a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction titles, children’s books, and books about cooking, business, hobbies, crafts, biographies, music, self-help, art, travel, history, religion, science and math and more.
There also will be a selection of specially-priced coffee table, art, and oversized books available.
Shoppers can also pick up Friends logo tote bags for just $10 each to carry their purchases home in style. As a bonus, each bag comes with a $2 discount toward all Friends’ book/media sales.
In addition, the first 300 shoppers who purchase items at the February sale will receive $1 coupons that may be used at the Friends’ book/media sale scheduled for June 1 through June 4.
All proceeds benefit Burlington County Library programming, such as the children and adult Summer Reading Programs and the Museum Pass Program.
