It Takes a Village NJ looking for volunteers to help elderly, disabled and veterans live safely

Volunteers can give as little as one hour per week of their time to help someone in need.

It Takes a Village NJ is looking for volunteers.

The volunteer organization is dedicated to providing free help to allow the elderly, the disabled of any age, and returning vets to live safely and comfortably in their homes.

Volunteers can give as little as one hour per week of their time to help someone in need.

Volunteers needed include young moms who can shop for the homebound, and those whose background includes social work, information technology and administration.

Its Takes a Village NJ holds one-hour orientation sessions take place every month at 7 p.m. at the Long and Foster Real Estate Office, corner of Route 38 and Church Street in Moorestown.

It Takes a Village NJ services cover Cinnaminson, Delran, Hainesport, Maple Shade, Moorestown and Mt. Laurel.
