The walk honors Lenape High School 1975 alumnus Kevin Todd, who lost his life to AIDS at age 40 in 1997.
Lenape High School students are once again invited to attend the Lenape High School Kevin Todd Memorial Walk on Nov. 30.
The walk honors Lenape High School 1975 alumnus Kevin Todd, who lost his life to AIDS at age 40 in 1997.
Money raised from the event will go toward the local non-profit organization Spirit of the Holidays, which was created by Todd’s sister in his memory and helps local families in South Jersey impacted by HIV and AIDS.
This year’s walk is set for Nov. 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lenape High School.
All students will earn one and half community service hours for participating and students will be able to take the late bus home at 4 p.m.
The suggested donation for the event is $5.
Any questions can be directed to Jaime Fauver or Jennifer Gaffney in the Lenape High School media center.
Those interested can learn more on Lenape’s website at www.lrhsd.org/Domain/119.
