Christmas Eve Worship at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior will begin with one worship service on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m. followed by three Candlelight Communion worships that evening.
Christmas Eve Worship at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior will begin with one worship service on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m. There will be three Candlelight Communion worship services that night at 5 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. The latter two services are new times from previous Christmas Eve worship service times.
The 5 p.m. service is a family worship with children’s sermon, and both children’s and cherub choirs and children’s bell choir. At 8 p.m., there will be a youth worship with the youth bell and vocal choirs and a traditional sermon. There will be a classic traditional worship at 10 p.m. with adult bell and vocal choirs, and a traditional sermon. Communion will be celebrated at all services and worship will conclude with the congregation joining in the singing of Silent Night as candles are extinguished.
Regular worship will resume on New Year’s Eve, Sunday, Dec. 31 with services at 8 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
