Dr. Richard Warshak to speak on parenting at library this month

Moorestown residents are being offered a rare opportunity to see Dr. Richard Warshak speak at The Moorestown Library this month.

Warshak, is a clinical psychologist, author, international authority and media guest expert, whose work describes the roots of disrupted parent-child relationships and how parents can best manage difficult times with their children and teens.

His publications focus on families in which parents live apart from each other while raising their children, but his insights are applicable to all parent-child conflicts.

Warshak shines a spotlight on parents who undermine their children’s affections for other relatives, including the child’s other parent. Warshak shows how and why the problem develops, how children are harmed, and what parents and the community can do to protect children from becoming alienated and to overcome alienation when it already exists.

Warshak will speak at the library on March 20 at 2 p.m. The event will take place in the meeting room at the library.

This event is free to attend, but preregistration is required. To register, or for information, call (856) 234–0333.
