A Moorestown-based non-profit is asking you to raise a drink and help people around the world enjoy the taste of clean water.
A Drink for Tomorrow is a non-profit organization that was started by resident Stephanie Weaver. The group raises awareness about the lack of access to clean water in impoverished communities around the world and also raises the funds to provide safe, clean water to those communities.
ADFT uses drinks and the beverage industry to raise awareness of the lack of access to clean, safe drinking water in the developing world. One of those partnerships is resulting in the third annual Raise a Drink for Tomorrow fund-raiser in June.
The event is scheduled for June 4 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center.
Those who attend will enjoy local beers, mojito martinis and wines from around the world while helping to bring clean water to impoverished communities. Tickets includes unlimited drinks and appetizers, and there will be a silent auction, raffle items, and a 50/50Â raffle.
Purchase your ticket here.
Can’t make it? You can still help by sending a donation, payable to A Drink for Tomorrow, to 680 Lippincott Avenue, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
