The Medford Arts Center will present its 2013 poetry awards in a festive holiday setting on Wednesday Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. The MAC will be all dressed up for the holidays as Burlington County poets gather to hear the results of our annual poetry contest. Last year’s winner, Kendall A. Bell, will select first-, second- and third-place awards from among the more than 100 submitted. Each poet could submit up to three works in any poetry style and many did.
The first-place winner will receive a check for $100, with second place getting $75 and third $50. Several honorable mentions may also be acknowledged. The winning poets will read their works at the awards celebration.
