Auditions for Philadelphia Boys Choir to be held at Mt. Laurel’s Fleetwood Elementary School on May 10
Auditions will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Candidates need not be a Mt. Laurel Schools student to attend.
Philadelphia Boys Choir Music Director Jeffrey Smith will hold auditions for boys who have not previously auditioned for the Philadelphia Boys Choir in grades one through five at the Fleetwood Elementary School on May 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Boys interested in joining the choir’s training program will be asked to sing a familiar song and perform a few simple singing exercises. This audition is very informal and will last only a few moments.
Those students selected for a final audition will be notified by mail within the month. The local auditions are open to all boys from the area meeting the above criteria. Candidates need not be a Mt. Laurel Schools student. A parent must accompany each boy to the auditions, as boys will be released immediately following their performance.
Fleetwood is located at 231 Fleetwood Ave. in Mt. Laurel.
